Boron Nitride Electroless Nickel

AST is equipped with the advanced technological plating composite of Boron Nitride Electroless Nickel (BNEN)

This is a process incorporating Boron Nitride particles into a medium-phosphorus deposit of Electroless Nickel deposit with thicknesses that range from .00005-.002 inches, making BNEN excellent for parts requiring hardness and lubricity. It can be plated on Copper, Brass, Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel. Among the benefits of BNEN are low coefficient of friction, high abrasion resistance and superior release.

Deposits of BNEN can be heat treated for attaining the maximum hardness needed for ultra wearing applications.
